April in the Sonoran Desert

The last part of spring we got the chance to be dogless in Tucson again, and that really allowed us to get out on the trails for bicycle rides and to hike up in the Santa Catalina and Tanque Verde Mountains. With the weather warming up, the hiking is easier to do early in the day. And when it’s over you get to go soak yourself in the pool. It’s very easy to see why so many people come here in the winter and spring.

And it’s Spring, so we’re seeing more and more flowers blooming on all our hikes.

We also got to see a Mariners Spring training game and attend the first round of the NCAA Women’s Basketball Tournament. All in all, a pretty fun spring.
